Founder & CEO
Erin Seaton is the founder and CEO of Embark Physical Therapy. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology from the University of Waterloo and a Masters of Physiotherapy Degree from Manchester Metropolitan University, in the United Kingdom. Erin is passionate about physiotherapy and wellness, and her success over the last decade in physiotherapy stems from her love of human movement and her dedication towards helping those in the Kitchener-Waterloo Community.
Erin has further specialization in advanced manual therapy, chronic pain management, concussion management, sport-related injuries, and acupuncture, resulting in her compassionate and comprehensive approach to physiotherapy treatment. Her extensive experience working with individuals all over the world, affected by a variety of conditions, has been the driving force behind the creation of a truly inclusive space - Embark Physical Therapy & Wellness.
Erin's experience in physiotherapy began in England's National Health Service; providing in-patient physio to those seeking care for neurological, post-surgical, and complex conditions. While obtaining her Master's degree, Erin volunteered with local basketball and netball teams in Manchester, honing skills that she would later utilize while working alongside sports teams such as the Tri-City Outlaws in Canada.
Erin returned to Canada to focus her physiotherapy practice in private orthopedic clinics helping those in Kitchener, Waterloo, Guelph, and Cambridge overcome sport, work, and motor-vehicle accident related injuries. Over the years she has fine-tuned a truly individualized approach to rehab, recovery and performance in physiotherapy that sets her apart. Erin aims to successfully grow the region’s premiere health and wellness clinic and provide improved services to those in her community that need it most.
Outside of working, Erin enjoys spending her time playing volleyball, playing with her two dogs, and spending time with her husband and growing family.
Ali graduated from the University of Waterloo with a Bachelor of Science Honours Kinesiology Degree then went on to work as a Registered Kinesiologist and Gymnastics/CrossFit coach for three years. Passionate about the Physiotherapy profession, Ali pursued her Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy at the University of Western Ontario. She is certified in Acupuncture and Dry Needling techniques and has Advanced Manual Therapy certifications. To provide the best care Ali uses a combination of manual therapy, exercise, education and acupuncture/modalities, making sure to identify the underlying cause of a condition and prevent future issues. She takes a client-centered approach to create individualized treatment plans ensuring her clients fully understand their diagnosis.
Ali takes pride in offering a comfortable, clean and cheerful environment at Embark to provide a lasting positive impression for her clients. She has a special interest in treating lower back, neck and shoulder pain. While growing up in Belleville Ali was a National level Power Tumbling athlete, competing for Team Canada. She was a Varsity Track athlete at Waterloo, and now stays active through challenging herself in Triathlons and Half Marathons in the summertime.

Dinisha (Deni) holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy which she obtained in India. She has diverse experience working in a variety of settings, including hospital-based physiotherapy,
outpatient orthopedic clinics, private physiotherapy clinics, and seniors' wellness clinics. Deni
began her career in physiotherapy as an assistant and resident Physiotherapist, which helped her in gaining hands-on experience in treating a wide range of conditions. Her treatment techniques are strongly based in manual therapy, therapeutic exercise and education. As a Registered Physiotherapist and member of the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario, Deni relies on thorough assessment and prioritizes an individualized approach to treatment. She values developing meaningful relationships with clients of all
ages, to provide a treatment plan that is both personalized and empowering. Compassion, empathy, and evidence-based practice guide her work in physiotherapy and pelvic health physiotherapy.
Deni believes in updating her knowledge constantly, and enhancing her skills for providing the best possible care to her patients. She completed her certification in basic and advanced Pilates before moving to Canada. Her passion lies in musculoskeletal rehabilitation and
women’s health. She also holds further specialized certifications in Pelvic Health Physiotherapy, which
focuses on creating a welcoming and supportive environment to help treat pelvic health concerns with a holistic approach.
As a dedicated Pelvic Health Physiotherapist, Deni
specializes in helping patients with urinary incontinence, pelvic pain, and other related conditions. Whether you’re recovering from childbirth, managing pelvic discomfort, or seeking preventive care, Deni is here to support you on your journey to optimal health and wellness.
Deni is multilingual and speaks Gujarati, Hindi, and English. She enjoys hiking, travelling and reading books in her free time. If you are recovering from an injury, managing a chronic condition, or seeking preventive care, Deni is proud member of the Embark team and is here to support you.
Certified Athletic Therapist
Pressure - Light to Deep
Lindsay grew up in KW and graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Health Sciences in Athletic Therapy in 2020 from Sheridan College. She then went on to graduate from the Ontario College of Health and Technology with a Diploma in Massage Therapy in 2021.
Lindsay is passionate about helping people, which is why she chose this career path. She integrates different techniques that are tailored to the clients needs. Lindsay uses both light to deep pressure including both therapeutic and relaxation techniques, with focus on fascial and trigger point work. She uses her knowledge to incorporate Athletic Therapy and therapist assisted stretching where necessary. She also offers Indie head massage which promotes optimal relaxation and has many benefits. She has treated a wide variety of clients and conditions including the general population, adolescents, and amateur and professional athletes. She values that every person is different and no treatment is the same.
Away from work, Lindsay enjoys golfing, baking, and travelling!

Brittany attended Humber College for three years where she obtained an Advanced Diploma in Massage Therapy. Throughout this time, she was introduced to many facets of healthcare while working with a wide demographic of outpatients. Brittany has experience working with
pre and postnatal care, amongst athletes, individuals with epilepsy, motor vehicle accidents and geriatrics, as well as
infants and small children. Aside from treating day to day aches and pains, Brittany has worked with various conditions such as: Torticollis, Bell’s Palsy, Whiplash, Frozen Shoulder, Scoliosis, Chronic Low Back
Pain, Fibromyalgia and Plantar Fasciitis. Based on her clients presenting ailments, Brittany incorporates many techniques into her practice that go beyond surface level pain. Some of these techniques include: manual
muscle and orthopedic testing, cervical and sacral traction, trigger point release, myofascial release and sustained glides to assess and isolate vertebral pain. She works alongside each client to understand their treatment goals as she believes collaboration is a core component in healthcare quality. Whether you are looking for a general wellness treatment or a more comprehensive rehabilitative program, Brittany is determined to make a positive impact while being an integral part of your healing process.

Crystal is a dedicated Registered Massage Therapist with a personal interest in how massage
therapy can aid us in mental wellbeing by using the body to help calm the mind. She is passionate about using massage as complimentary care for issues such as anxiety, stress, depression, burnout, eating disorders, chronic pain and overall wellbeing. Crystal has strong
experience in this field having worked at a prominent addictions and mental health hospital
giving RMT care to patients and staff of the many programs.
Drawing on a diverse range of techniques, Crystal tailors each session to meet the unique
needs of clients, fostering an environment of safety and support. She believes that effective
therapeutics integrate and harmonize the mind-body connection. She strives to empower clients with achievable homecare including meditation and yoga promoting overall wellness and resilience.
When not at the clinic she enjoys reading, gardening, learning about plants, spending time in
nature, and hanging out with her pup.
Kylie is Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with certifications in Restorative, Perinatal/Prenatal, and Nidra Yoga. Kylie's style of teaching would be described as compassion led , functional movement in a safe and mindful space. She believes strongly that strength building in an accessible way leads to more confidence with less injury for the student. As a child Kylie always knew she wanted to help people, this led her down the path of attending the Social Service Work program at Sheridan College in which she graduated from in 2009. After working in the family counselling field she realized quickly that the holistic approach to healing was the best way for her to help others. Which led her to a Yoga Teacher Training program in 2016 where she found the love of movement, breath and mindfulness. After graduating from this program in 2017 she went on to complete programs/certifications in Restorative Yoga, Perinatal/Prenatal Yoga and Yoga Nidra. Adding to her repertoire to better help others heal she has also become a certified Hypnotherapist with the National Guild of Hypnotists as well as a level 2 Reiki practitioner. Working in both the studio and private setting she discovered just how powerful connecting to the body in breath and movement can help people move through anxiety, stress, pain, trauma, grief and more. Going beyond the mat to create a nurturing and safe space for her clients is Kylie’s specialty and what led her to begin running yoga and wellness retreats/workshops. Kylie’s most cherished role was found in motherhood to her two beautiful boys. She enjoys being in nature and the simple yet sacred moments with family and friends.
Emma is a Certified Yoga Therapist who believes that movement is medicine. Through her teachings, Emma aims to improve mobility, strength, mental clarity, and emotional balance in her clients. Her compassionate approach and deep understanding of the mind-body connection make her an ideal guide for individuals seeking one-on-one support through their wellness journey. Emma is a 200 hour Certified Yoga Instructor recognized by the worldwide Yoga Alliance.
Born and raised in Kitchener-Waterloo, Maddie is the dedicated owner of Typically Oily, a small business where she channels her passion for aromatherapy and advocates for organic, clean living. Maddie often participates in local artisan events, fostering connections, and sharing her knowledge within the community. Typically Oily is not just a brand but a reflection of Maddie’s ethos. Every product is a labor of love, handcrafted with organic ingredients and 100% pure essential oils. Maddie’s vision for Typically Oily was clear: a brand dedicated to promoting clean living, seamlessly integrating organic choices into people's lives to enhance their well-being. Currently, Maddie is expanding her expertise working towards achieving her license as a clinical aromatherapist. Outside of work, Maddie enjoys quality time with family and friends, including her fur babies, indulging in baking, nurturing her collection of houseplants and practicing yoga.
